Konfabulator Purchased by Yahoo!

by Teli

It seems as though Yahoo’s on some sort of buying spree – first blo.gs and now Konfabulator. The good news of this recent purchase is that the software is now free.

If you have no idea what konfabulator is, it’s software developed for Windows and Mac which allows you to place different widgets on your desktop. The widgets range from calenders and notepads to cpu monitors and weather reports.

Being a konfabulator trial user myself and nearly getting ready to fork out the dough, this came as very welcome news. If you did happen to purchase konfabulator 2.0 or later, you will be receiving a refund. The details are sketchy, but I think Yahoo’s good for it.

You can read about it all at the konfabulator homepage.

Yeah! You are such the source of great info, Teli! I was admiring Adriana’s Busy Mom’s site which reminded me to check out what you offer. I tried out konfabulator originally at your recommendation and loved it, but not enough to buy it. So I’m so happy to hear this news.

    Thanks!

Glad you found it helpful Christy :),
I too was in the wavering group – not quite sure if it was worth the money, but so far, I enjoy having my “desktop calendar” and weather at a glance.
